I joined the ‘twas the Bite Before Christmas organizing committee out of a sense of responsibility. I felt that the successes I have been able to achieve in my life, were due in large part to the people and community around me. In recognizing those influences of success, I chose to embrace the various neighbourly needs of my community.

There is no greater feeling than when you can spread kindness and help others in need. I am so proud to be involved in ‘twas the Bite Before Christmas. Our amazing team all shares the same dedication and passion towards making a difference in our community and fostering a positive impact on fighting hunger and feeding hope!

Maribeth Graham

As an elementary school teacher with 40 years experience, I have seen the difference that healthy and abundant food make in the lives of children and their families. It is only when the most basic of needs are met that learning and growing can happen.

Food insecurity is at an all time high in our communities, and I am honoured to work with Twas the Bite Before Christmas to help bridge the gap between surviving and thriving.

Austin McNamee

Food insecurity is one of the greatest challenges facing our community today. We are doing our small part to help people put food on the table for those in need of assistance.

Amber Robertson

I have been volunteering at events for 'Twas the Bite Before Christmas for many years, but joined the team officially in 2023, as the need in the community has increased greatly.  I beleive that giving back to the community is an important part of living in a cohesive and socially supportive society.

I'm happy to be part of a wonderful organization filled with giving, loving people that want to make a difference in our beautiful city!

Food insecurity continues to be a growing issue for our Mississauga community.  ‘Twas the Bite Before Christmas has made it our key initiative to help Fight Hunger, Feed Hope and Empower People since 2009!

By joining this team, I hope to bring over 25 years of Foodservice Industry experience to help the team in achieving our core objectives and make a difference in our community.
